Eclectic interests in everything from Medieval history to magic to philosophy to music were the catalysts behind C. Anne Morgan's fiction endeavors. Though a prolific songwriter and poet, her interest in writing full-length fiction was borne out of boredom while waiting for her favorite authors to finish new books. After spending several years honing her craft, she finally completed work on her first novel, Night Cries, in 2004. She will graduate from Lewis-Clark State College in Spring 2006 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Communication and English. Ms. Morgan spends her days working for her own Internet start-up company; writing; and playing guitar, singing, and writing songs for her band, Make Me Shiver. Her charm and rapier wit are the hallmarks of the things she enjoys: spirited repartee, performing with her band, researching the arcane, writing, and memorizing more worthless trivia than any one person ought to know. She lives and writes from rural north Idaho.
